Product Information

 CalCombi features a combination of 2 types of technology. The first is the use of a magnetec bar in order to induce a single polarity into the water, causing calcium and limescale particles to take on the same polarity. These two particles then repel each other and therefore prevent hard limescale formation. 

The second technology is the use of Zinc coated plates, when water passes over these plates and the internal copper body of the unit a single polarity is induced, which prevents the formation of hard limescale. The use of Zinc also has a secondary effect of removing all air from the system and as a result prevents corrosion.

 

  • Can be fitted to 28mm, 35mm, 42mm and 54mm Pipework.

After installation the following effects should be seen :

  • After regular contact with the treated water, formation of hard limescale will start to soften and break up.
  • Limescale build up will start to fall away, which in time will allow you to lower the water temperature on your hot water heater and save money on your heating bills.
